What K-Culture Radar is

K-Culture Radar is an independent online publication about Korean entertainment for a global audience. We watch what is trending in K-pop and K-drama — a performance clip that suddenly travels, a series that breaks out, a name that everyone is searching for — and explain what happened, why it is spreading and where to watch the official source. Each story is published in English, Japanese, Spanish and Korean.

We are not affiliated with the artists, agencies, broadcasters or streaming services we write about. Their names and works belong to them.

How a story is made

Every story starts from public signals: official channels, press coverage, and search and video interest. An editor decides what is worth explaining. A draft is then written with the help of AI tools, working only from a fixed set of sources that the editor has collected, and every claim in the draft is tied to one of those sources. A named editor reads the draft, checks it against the sources and approves it before it goes live. Nothing on this site is published automatically, and no story goes live without a human decision.

Stories written this way say so: a note on the page reads “Drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by an editor.” Translations are produced and reviewed together with the original.

Sources and corrections

Every story ends with a list of the sources it relies on, marked by type (official, press, platform, social), so you can check what we checked. We do not publish stories that rest on rumours or unverified social posts alone, and we do not report on private lives.

If you believe something on this site is wrong, tell us using the contact details at the end of this page. Corrections are made in the story itself, and the page shows when it was last updated.

Media

We embed official videos through YouTube’s player and link to official channels and pages. We never download, re-upload or screenshot copyrighted video, photographs or streaming content. Images on this site are either made by us or used under a licence that permits it, and each carries its credit.

Advertising and independence

K-Culture Radar is free to read and is supported by advertising. Ads are always labelled “Advertisement”, and advertisers have no say in what we cover or how. If we ever publish sponsored content, it will carry a visible “Sponsored” label and the sponsor’s name.
