The record

STUNNER is Ten’s second mini album, released on 24 March 2025 with seven tracks. The title track shares the record’s name and its English version closes the album, which follows the first mini album TEN of 13 months earlier.

SM Entertainment’s album introduction on Bugs describes the title track as R&B pop built from groovy rhythm instruments and synth sounds, carrying singing, rap in a cool tone and whispered lines. The same text says ‘STUNNER (English Ver.)’ carries different lyrics from the Korean version, with a message that the speaker is the one who shines. By that account ‘BAMBOLA’ is dance-pop that adds electronic elements over a danceable beat and ‘Enough For Me’ is R&B pop with a repeating chorus over a minimal track, while ‘Sweet As Sin’ is a dark song built on a weighted bass, and ‘Waves’ and ‘Butterfly’ hold, respectively, the wish to give oneself to the waves and the ache of a missed memory.

Reviews

Idology (아이돌로지) placed the record on its list of the 20 albums of 2025, published on 31 December 2025. Setting the pre-release tracks beside the title track, Quibi wrote of “‘BAMBOLA’, the pre-release whose electronic sound runs wild and unsettles the ear, and ‘STUNNER’, the title song that holds a slow-burning mood yet keeps a taut tension through a melody that presses persistently on ninth-chord notes and a varied handling of rhythm sources”. Of the range of the other tracks he wrote that “the tracks that follow hold genres from hip-hop and R&B to Afrobeat and ballad, and it is encouraging that every one of them (even the ballad track) feels as though it were chosen with nothing but Ten’s performance in mind”.

IZM made the record its Monthly Pick for March 2025. In a single sentence, Nam Kang-min wrote of “accumulation beyond expansion — the NCT solo universe building solidly”.

Billboard placed the title track on its list of the 25 best K-pop songs of 2025, published on 18 December 2025. The entry says that “with a genre-hopping, shape-shifting and polyphonic production, ‘STUNNER’ feels like his boldest showcase yet of his many gifts, both in the song and the choreo-heavy music video”.

Among the tracks

‘STUNNER’ is the song with the music video, and the song both Idology and Billboard singled out. The album introduction says its lyrics hold a feeling growing toward someone whose appeal exceeds what was expected.

The pre-release ‘BAMBOLA’ is the track Quibi set beside the title track. Idology also carried it in the same year-end series, as one of the 12 honourable mentions in its list of the songs of 2025. The album introduction describes it as a song marked by a playful character who would move someone about like a doll.
