Awards
Cine21 records best new actress at the 51st Grand Bell Awards for Obsessed, and lists a nomination in the same category at the 35th Blue Dragon Film Awards for the same film. At the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards, held at Paradise City in Incheon on 28 April 2023, she took the television section’s best supporting actress award for The Glory, as edaily reported from the ceremony that day.
2026
In 2026 she led SBS’s Friday–Saturday drama My Royal Nemesis. Cine21 lists the role as two characters, Shin Seo-ri and Kang Dan-sim: the premise puts the soul of the Joseon villainess Dan-sim into the body of the obscure actress Seo-ri, so one performer carries both. The drama ran to fourteen episodes from 8 May to 20 June 2026.
The series, in which Lim Ji-yeon moves between Sin Seo-ri and Kang Dan-sim, streamed on Netflix outside Korea and stayed in the non-English TV top 10 for eight weeks, gathering 27.6 million views by Netflix’s weekly count. The week-by-week figures and the domestic ratings are on the series page.
