A Shop for Killers Season 2 is an eight-episode series Disney+ released between 22 July and 12 August 2026. Etoday reported that it opened with episodes 1 and 2 and then added two every Wednesday, the last pair arriving on 12 August at 4 p.m. KST. The same report describes the story: Ji-an, played by Kim Hye-jun, has taken over the storefront Murthehelp, and with her uncle Jeong Jin-man, played by Lee Dong-wook and believed dead, she strikes back at the global mercenary network Babylon.
Jo Han-sun, Geum Han-nah and Kim Min returned from the first season, and Jung Yun-ha, Hyunri and Masaki Okada joined as new characters. The South China Morning Post credits Lee Kwon as director, Lee Kwon and Ji Ho-jin as writers, and Kang Ji-young’s novel as the source.
What it did after release
Ilgan Sports reported on 25 July 2026, citing the Walt Disney Company Korea, that the series — whose first two episodes went up on 22 July — was, by views on its opening day, the most-watched Korean original series on Disney+ worldwide. The same report noted that the first season, released in 2024, was named among The New York Times’s best international TV shows of 2024 and Time’s four best Korean dramas of the year.
At home the attention held to the end of the run. Sports Kyunghyang reported on 11 August that Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex for the second week of August placed the series first for buzz in the combined TV and streaming drama category, a second consecutive week at the top. The same report cited FlixPatrol for seven straight days inside the Disney+ all-content top 10 in four countries: South Korea, Taiwan, Japan and Turkey.
