What A Shop for Killers Season 2 Did in Four Weeks
Disney+'s A Shop for Killers Season 2 opened with two episodes on 22 July 2026 and added two every Wednesday for four weeks. On its first day it was the most-watched Korean original on Disney+ worldwide, and a day before it ended it held first place for buzz at home for a second week.
What happened
Disney+’s A Shop for Killers Season 2 opened with episodes 1 and 2 on 22 July 2026. Ilgan Sports reported on 25 July, citing the Walt Disney Company Korea, that by views on its first day the season was the most-watched Korean original series on Disney+ worldwide. The eight episodes went up two a week on Wednesdays and finished with episodes 7 and 8 at 4 p.m. KST on 12 August.
Why is it trending?
The eight episodes were not released at once. Etoday reported that the season opened with episodes 1 and 2 and then added two every Wednesday, which put the remaining pairs on 29 July, 5 August and 12 August. While the episodes were spread over four weeks, the domestic buzz count reached the top the day before the finale. Sports Kyunghyang reported on 11 August that Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex for the second week of August placed the series first in the combined TV and streaming drama category, a second consecutive week at the top.
