MAMIHLAPINATAPAI is ILLIT’s fourth mini album, released on 30 April 2026. The album introduction on Bugs presents “mamihlapinatapai” as a word for the hesitation between two people who both want something but neither one moves first, and takes that as the album’s concept.
It carries five tracks, and the title track ‘It’s Me’ is a techno song. Wonhee told Dispatch that the album’s title comes from a word in the Yaghan language of South America, describing the moment two people each wait for the other to act.
