- The album introduction presents this first EP as a record connected as one narrative, following the debut single 'MEOW' and the second single 'TOXIC', and as one that unfolds MEOVV's perspective and inner world. It describes the title track 'DROP TOP' as a pop song with rock elements about moving toward the world with a perspective of one's own, and notes that member Gawon took part in writing the lyrics. The Brazilian funk song 'HANDS UP' is on the record too.

MY EYES OPEN VVIDE is MEOVV’s first mini album, released on 12 May 2025. The album introduction on Bugs says it moves past the debut single ‘MEOW’ and the second single ‘TOXIC’ into “deeper and wider musical worlds,” presented as “a narrative connected as one” rather than standalone tracks.
It carries six tracks. The Brazilian-funk-inspired ‘HANDS UP’ was pre-released on 28 April, and ‘DROP TOP’, a pop song built on rock elements, arrived as the title track on the EP’s own release day.
