Seonghwa (성화) is a member of ATEEZ, who debuted under KQ Entertainment in October 2018. In December 2025 he became an honorary ambassador for his hometown of Jinju, and he helped write the lyrics of his solo song 'Skin'.
Seonghwa (성화) is a member of ATEEZ, and debuted with the group under KQ Entertainment on 24 October 2018. His hometown is Jinju in South Gyeongsang Province. On 22 December 2025 the agency announced that he had been appointed an honorary ambassador for Jinju, citing his ties to the city, where he spent his school years. He told Edaily that he would work “to spread Jinju’s culture, nature and history, and the warmth of its people, more widely”.
The video for his solo song ‘Skin’ went up on ATEEZ’s official YouTube channel on 3 January 2026. The song is on the July 2025 repackage, and according to Star News Seonghwa took part in writing its lyrics. In an interview for Marie Claire Korea’s April 2026 digital cover, he named the starting points of his stages one by one. The sword in the ‘WONDERLAND’ stage came from the drama Alchemy of Souls, and the cape and the light he commands in ‘New World’ from the film Star Wars. ‘Skin’, he said, came from studying the conceptual side of the musician DPR IAN. According to Segye Biz, Seonghwa walked the runway for SONGZIO’s 26SS collection in Paris in June 2025 and was named the brand’s global ambassador in July. After that he shot a digital cover for DAZED. In August 2026 he was on the cover of the September issue of WWD Korea. Sports Donga reported that, looking back on the ‘BAD’ promotions in that interview, he said: “I felt that people had finally recognised what I had kept doing without bending my will.”
In December 2025 he sang an OST for the second season of the 3D animation SEALOOK with Hongjoong, Yunho and Wooyoung, and the OST album came out on 9 January 2026 (Newsen). Before GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4, the first album after the renewal, he told Kookmin Ilbo: “We prepared it with the heart we had when we first started out seven years ago.” The renewal story traces that album and the next.

ATEEZ (에이티즈) are an eight-member boy group under KQ Entertainment, who debuted on 24 October 2018 with the mini album Treasure EP.1: All To Zero. Three of their albums have entered the Billboard 200 at number one, most recently GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5 in July 2026.
