Who is Hongjoong?

Hongjoong (홍중) is a member of ATEEZ, the eight-member group that debuted under KQ Entertainment on 24 October 2018 with the mini album Treasure EP.1: All To Zero. Electronic Times reported that he and Mingi were credited on the writing of every track on the fourteenth mini album GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5, released on 26 June 2026 — the record that took the group to number one on the Billboard 200 that July. At the GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4 press conference in February 2026 he described the album as the group’s first after all eight renewed their contracts, prepared “with nervousness and heart-fluttering excitement”.
