What it is about

Bloodhounds Season 2 (사냥개들 시즌2) is an action series Netflix released on 3 April 2026. 한국일보 described it as a return three years after the first season, with Kim Joo-hwan directing, Woo Do-hwan as Gun-woo, Lee Sang-yi as Woo-jin and Jung Ji-hoon as Baek-jeong.

Netflix said in its own newsroom that Kim Joo-hwan both wrote and directed, that Studio N produced and that Ghost Studio and 7O5 co-produced. The source is Jeong Chan’s Naver Webtoon 사냥개들.

The two boxers who brought down an illegal loan ring now face a global underground boxing league run on money and violence. At the production conference the director said, “이번 시즌2는 주인공 두 사람이 새로운 적대자를 만나 치열하고 격렬한 싸움을 벌이는 이야기” — season two is the story of the two leads meeting a new antagonist and fighting a fierce, violent fight.

What it did after release

Season two reached the top of the non-English TV list in its second week. 조이뉴스24 reported on 15 April that it had taken first place with 7.4 million views for 5 to 12 April and reached the top 10 in 80 countries.

By Netflix’s weekly figures the five weeks season two stayed on the list ran second, first, third, sixth and ninth, on 5 million, 7.4 million, 3.7 million, 2.2 million and 1.5 million views — 19.8 million in all.

The week the first season came back

Season one returned to the list at the same time. 조이뉴스24 noted in the same report that it took third place with 3 million views. Netflix’s weekly data shows it on the list for three weeks in April 2026, at eighth, third and seventh, which with its five weeks in 2023 makes eight weeks in that category.
