The song

‘달빛바다 (Sea of Moonlight)’ is a single fromis_9 released on 24 July 2022. It remakes the song of the same name that IU and FIESTAR put out in 2012.

The album introduction says it is the first song in the summer round of the Re:born project, which has older songs recorded again by other singers. The arrangement, the same text says, keeps a light beat over a bass line. The credits list Kim Eana for the lyrics, Kim Tae-young and Cyzer for the composition and HONEYSWEAT, Kim Tae-young and KZ for the arrangement.

The song came with a special clip rather than a music video. Warner Music Korea, which distributed it, posted the clip on its official channel the day after release. The record was made by the nine-member line-up.
