The record

Glow ME is the second full-length album fromis_9 released, at 6 p.m. KST on 21 July 2026, with ten tracks. The title track is ‘Vitamin ME’. Electronic Times reported that it is the group’s first full-length album in about three years, since Unlock My World of 2023, and that every member took part in the writing.

The album introduction carried by Bugs calls the record “an album that holds the journey towards the ‘me’ that shines most brilliantly”, and reads its title as “the light that lights oneself, and the warmth that lights one another”. The same text introduces the title track as one that, “on a bright Latin-based rhythm and a positive energy, sings the moment of loving one’s own appeal and being one’s own strength”.

Reviews

The music webzine IZM reviewed the record on 24 August 2026. The writer is Son Min-hyeon. He begins with the way the group has gone about its ten years: “these incarnations of primary colour know how to laugh off complicated lore, and are not dyed by the pastel-toned Y2K wave.” He goes on: “in an overheated free market of K-pop competition, having held out without hitching itself to anything is proof of survival already complete.”

Son names four tracks. He writes that “‘Eternal’, which holds the energy and the wistfulness of an opening track at once, injects anticipation slowly and does its job in the running order, while ‘Blue heart’, with a curious grown-up quality about it, carries an unexpectedly plain charm in the combination of a cool beat and falsetto.” Of the other two: “‘Cold blood’, which goes retro without the main vocal, has become a track with a new, unburdened taste, and ‘Why do I cry?’, where the singing of Song Ha-young and Park Ji-won alone over a guitar rhythm can be felt whole, unfolds a proven formula smoothly.” The same page marks ‘Eternal’, ‘Blue heart’ and ‘Cold blood’ as recommended.

Idology (아이돌로지), the idol-pop webzine, carried a note by Yemi in ‘Weekly : 2026년 7월 4주차’, dated 27 July 2026. Yemi calls the record “an album that shows in full length, and at full stretch, fromis_9’s speciality of expressing the coolness of summer with light and buoyant music”, and writes that “the sounds that express that summer are various, but put a spoonful of wistfulness inside them and it becomes fromis_9”.

Among the tracks

The album introduction calls the opening track, ‘ETERNAL’, “a song that holds an endlessly continuing bond and an unchanging heart, likened to the Milky Way”, and IZM reads it as doing its job in the running order.

The fourth track, ‘Blue Heart’, the introduction calls “an electronic pop track that raises the group’s forthright, self-directed energy in a fierce sound”, and likens the title to “a flame that only turns blue when it burns at the highest temperature”.

The seventh track, ‘Cold Blood’, is the first song Lee Chae-young wrote lyrics for; she said so herself in a written interview the day before release, and that story is set out in The First Lyrics Lee Chae-young Wrote. The eighth track, ‘Why do I cry?’, is sung by Song Ha-young and Park Ji-won alone.

Numbers

Electronic Times wrote that the record is the group’s first full-length album in about three years. The same report says that ‘LIKE YOU BETTER’, the title track of the preceding sixth mini album From Our 20’s, stayed in the upper part of the Melon Top 100 for three weeks after release. The group’s agency is Ascend Entertainment.

Around it

The group’s first record is the debut mini album To. Heart of 2018. What the members did after this album is set out in Song Ha-young’s Three Days as Special DJ, Baek Ji-heon on Naked Korean History 2 and Park Ji-won’s musical debut.
