Seungmin is the vocalist of Stray Kids. He has sung several drama soundtracks, from 'Here Always' for Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha to 'My Destiny' for The Potato Lab, and on the 2026 mini album THIS & THAT he sang 'Back Then', which Han wrote alone. Burberry named him a brand ambassador in June 2025.

Drama theme songs have made his name known in their own right. Sports Kyunghyang reported on 28 October 2025 that Seungmin had sung ‘너여야만 해’ (Neoyeoyaman Hae), a title that means it has to be you, for the soundtrack of SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama 우주메리미 (Uju Merry Me), whose Korean title sets the word for space in front of an English marry me. The same report noted that he had taken part in several soundtracks, among them ‘Here Always’, the theme song of tvN’s drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. NME reported on 20 October 2022 that he had released ‘Close To You’ for the drama Love in Contract. According to Sports Kyunghyang, ‘My Destiny’, the first soundtrack song for tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama The Potato Lab, also came out in his voice, on 2 March 2025, and on 12 April ‘START!’, the first soundtrack song for tvN’s Resident Playbook, which he sang with Lee Know and I.N, was released (SPOTV News).
Within the group he often sings songs the other members wrote. NME reported on 14 August 2023, on his solo song ‘Hold On’, that it had been written and composed by Han and Bang Chan. His solo song on the digital album SKZ-REPLAY, released on 21 December 2022, is ‘내려요’ (Naeryeoyo), a word said of rain or snow coming down, and it looks back on beautiful moments (SPOTV News). On the mini album THIS & THAT of 7 August 2026 he sang ‘Back Then’, whose lyrics and music Han wrote alone, and Sports Kyunghyang wrote that he delivered its words “with a lyrical vocal”.
For five days from 11 October 2021 he was the special DJ of KBS Cool FM’s DAY6’s Kiss the Radio (Newsis). On 18 March 2024 he took the mound to throw the ceremonial first pitch at a special game between Team Korea and the LA Dodgers at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul (Newsis).
Soompi reported on 17 June 2025 that the British house Burberry had chosen him as its new brand ambassador. On his birthday, 22 September that year, he donated 100 million won to the child welfare organisation ChildFund Korea. It was the second year of his birthday donations, and this time the money goes to a programme for children who care for their families.
