‘CLICK’ is a single Jisoo released at 1 p.m. KST on 4 September 2026. The album information page on Bugs gives the type as single and the genre as dance and pop, and lists one track, the title track ‘CLICK’. Hanteo Chart’s count, as Breaknews reported it, lists the record as Jisoo’s second single; the first was ME in 2023.
The song is the pre-release single that opens Jisoo’s first solo full-length album. Munhwa Ilbo reported that Jisoo begins her first solo full-length album with it, and The Korea Herald reported on 24 August that the album’s release date had not yet been set. Breaknews reported that, starting with ‘CLICK’, Jisoo plans to release singles of different moods one after another as pre-releases and complete the full-length album that way. New Daily wrote that she plans to complete the album within the year.
On release day Jisoo wrote on her social media that she chose the song as the first pre-release because she wanted to ‘click’ with many people and run toward her full-length album (Top Star News). The album introduction describes the song as one about the moment you are drawn before there is a reason and grow close before there are words. Munhwa Ilbo described it as a dance-pop rhythm laid over restrained synth sounds and an elastic bass.
In a single review on 17 September 2026, IZM’s Han Seong-hyeon set the song beside ‘Your Love’ from Jisoo’s 2025 EP AMORTAGE. He noted that ‘Your Love’ had run in the opposite direction to the title track ‘earthquake’, then wrote: “Compared point by point, it is a song that follows its precedent very well.” The same piece pointed to how a pre-chorus sung in short, clipped syllables is widened out into the chorus.
The record is one song, and its credits follow the label’s album introduction. Caroline Ailin, Simon Wilcox, Sir Nolan, Simon Says and Jisoo share the lyrics and music, and Sir Nolan and Simon Says produced it.
The official music video went up on Jisoo’s official YouTube channel on the day of release. Munhwa Ilbo and The Korea Herald reported that it was directed by Joseph Kahn, and The Korea Herald reported that it was shot in Bangkok. Top Star News wrote that a teddy-bear character, ‘CLICK Bear’, standing for the link between Jisoo and her fans, appears throughout the video and on the cover and contents of the physical album.
On Hanteo Chart’s count, as Breaknews reported it, the record placed first on the weekly album chart for the first week of September, with 102,010 copies sold. On Circle Chart’s album chart it started at eighth in its release week, week 36 of 2026 (30 August to 5 September), and rose to third in week 39 (20 to 26 September). On the digital chart it was 93rd in its release week.
Herald Muse, citing the agency’s count, reported that after release the song reached number one on iTunes Top Songs charts in nine regions and the top ten in 43. On Billboard’s charts it reached 96th on the Global Excl. U.S. dated 19 September.
On the music shows it took first place for the third week of September on Mnet’s M Countdown on 17 September (Top Star News).
The announcement began on 24 August. Ilgan Sports reported that Jisoo posted a teaser poster, a countdown page and a teaser video in turn that day on her official app and the social media of her agency, BLISSOO. The schedule up to release is set out in the story on the release of ‘CLICK’.
