Three BLACKPINK Solo Releases in One Week — and the Companies Behind Them

Jennie's digital EP Fallen Angel arrived on 28 August 2026, Lisa's 'SaWaDiKa' and Jisoo's 'CLICK' on 4 September. The four members renewed with YG Entertainment for group activities in December 2023, and each one's solo work is handled by a company of her own.

BLACKPINK’s members put out three solo releases in one week. Jennie’s digital EP Fallen Angel arrived on 28 August 2026, and on 4 September came Lisa’s pre-release single ‘SaWaDiKa’ and Jisoo’s pre-release single ‘CLICK’. The three came from three different companies. The contract the four members renewed with YG Entertainment in December 2023 covers group activities, and each member’s solo work is handled by a company of her own. This piece sets out which release came from which company, and what each one leads to, as the sources state it.

What arrived on 28 August and 4 September

Sports Kyunghyang reported that Jennie released the digital EP Fallen Angel (Digital EP) — both the recordings and the music video — at 1 p.m. KST on 28 August 2026, through music services worldwide and her official YouTube channel. The same report said the digital EP carries three tracks: the title track ‘FALLEN ANGEL’, ‘HEAVEN’ and ‘Less than a Lover’.

A week later, on 4 September, two more followed. Munhwa Ilbo reported that Lisa released the single ‘SaWaDiKa’ at 9 a.m. KST that day through online music services worldwide. The same outlet reported that Jisoo would release the pre-release single ‘CLICK’ at 1 p.m. KST the same day.

That is one week from end to end. Between 28 August and 4 September, three of the four members released solo music in turn.

The group is YG Entertainment; the solo work is each member’s own company

The reason this is three companies’ schedule and not one lies in the contracts. The Korea Times reported on 24 December 2023 that Jennie had announced on Instagram that she was setting up the company OA (ODD ATELIER) for her solo work, quoting her as saying “I will try to stand on my own this year by setting up the company OA (ODD ATELIER)”; the same report said the four members had renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment for group activities earlier that month.

The other three arrangements were each reported in turn. Sports Kyunghyang reported on 18 June 2024 that Rosé had signed a management contract with THE BLACK LABEL. Soompi reported on 10 April 2024 that Lisa’s company LLOUD had announced her signing with RCA Records, and wrote that her group activities with BLACKPINK are managed by YG Entertainment while her solo activities are managed by LLOUD and RCA Records; the same report said Lisa founded LLOUD, her own management company, in February 2024. Jisoo’s solo work is handled by BLISSOO, the company Sports Kyunghyang named as her agency when it reported the release of ‘CLICK’.

What each release leads to

All three have something announced behind them. Munhwa Ilbo reported that ‘SaWaDiKa’ is the pre-release track from the EP PRESS PLAY, out on 23 October. The same report said the title is a Thai greeting meaning hello, and that the music video was directed by Bang Jae-yeop and filmed at landmark locations in Bangkok, Lisa’s home city in Thailand.

Sports Kyunghyang reported that ‘CLICK’ is the first pre-release single from Jisoo’s first solo full-length album, and that starting with it she plans to pre-release a sequence of singles with differing moods as she completes the album. The same report said the music video was directed by the Korean American director Joseph Kahn, who has worked with Taylor Swift, Eminem and Lady Gaga.

For Jennie a physical release is still to come. The same outlet reported that the physical EP Fallen Angel arrives on 30 October with six tracks, three of which — ‘sweettooth’, ‘lockitdown’ and ‘Face’ — appear only on that edition.

Rosé and THE BLACK LABEL

Rosé’s solo work is handled by THE BLACK LABEL, the company she signed a management contract with in June 2024. In the report that announced it, the company said the contract rested on the trust built up between Rosé and the producer Teddy over years of working together as artist and producer.

Her most recent stage was at an awards show. The Korea Herald reported that on Sunday 1 February 2026 Rosé opened the 68th Grammy Awards at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, performing ‘APT.’ with Bruno Mars.

Group activity ran alongside it

Separately from the solo schedule, the group had its own earlier in the year. Munhwa Ilbo reported on 15 January 2026 that BLACKPINK would return on 27 February with DEADLINE, and noted that the album shares its name with the world tour that had opened at Goyang Sports Complex in July 2025. The same outlet said the tour ran 33 shows across 16 cities.

The tour ended that month. On 28 January the same outlet reported that BLACKPINK had played Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong from 24 to 26 January, and wrote that the third mini album DEADLINE would be released at 2 p.m. KST on 27 February.
