Jisoo has been a member of BLACKPINK since the group's debut in August 2016. Her solo work is released through BLISSOO, the label she announced in February 2024, and her first solo mini album AMORTAGE followed a year later.

Boyfriend on Demand, the Netflix series in which she plays a webtoon producer, is her first lead role. In the week ending 15 March 2026 the Korea JoongAng Daily reported it at number one on Netflix’s weekly non-English series chart, with 4.8 million views and the top spot in 47 countries.
Her performances with BLACKPINK are on the group’s official YouTube channel, and her own channel carries her solo releases. K-Culture Radar links to official uploads rather than re-hosting them.
The pre-release single ahead of her first solo full-length album came out at 1 p.m. KST, with an official music video directed by Joseph Kahn the same day.

Sports Kyunghyang reported that BLACKPINK marked its 10th debut anniversary on 8 August 2026, with BORN PINK at number one on the Billboard 200 and the UK albums chart, DEADLINE past 1.77 million copies in a week and 42.6 billion YouTube views. YouTube said it passed 100 million subscribers.
