- The album introduction presents the single as Daesung's first formal release as a solo artist, a glimpse of the musical world he would go on to build, focused on what his own voice alone can carry. It describes the title track 'Falling Slowly' as a song the new producer Kit and Daesung finished with the feel of a classic film, built on unplugged instrumentation and a lyrical melody, and quotes Daesung: it sings of a feeling one only comes to understand after a burning emotion has passed. The B-side '빛 (Light)' is introduced as a jazz ballad about gratitude toward someone who matters.
