날 봐, 귀순 (Look At Me, Gwisun)

The song

‘Look At Me, Gwisun’ (날 봐, 귀순) is the first solo digital single Daesung released, on 16 June 2008. YG Entertainment’s album introduction presents it as the label’s first trot song and the second solo release from BIGBANG, after Taeyang’s. The label also writes the title as ‘날 봐, 귀순!’.

According to the same text, the music is by KUSH and G-Dragon, the lyrics are G-Dragon’s, and the arrangement is by Kim Jeong-muk, who arranged the trot singer Jang Yoon-jeong’s ‘어머나’ (Eomeona), a title that is an exclamation of surprise. The introduction describes a trot song in a style quite unlike BIGBANG’s, with lyrics that state a fondness for Gwisun outright. No official music video was found on an official channel, so this page carries none.

On stage

The song has been sung at Daesung’s own shows and at BIGBANG’s. ETNews reported that at DAESUNG 2025 ASIA TOUR: D’s WAVE ENCORE – JAPAN, held from 31 January to 1 February 2026 at Asue Arena Osaka, he sang it along with ‘한도초과’ (Handochogwa), a title that reads as ‘over the limit’, the song G-Dragon and KUSH worked on together. That August the song was part of Daesung’s solo set at the Goyang Stadium shows of BIGBANG’s 20th-anniversary world tour XX : COSMOS. Asia Today reported that he sang ‘Universe’ and ‘WINGS’ and then went on to ‘한도초과’ and this song, and The Korea Times also listed it among that night’s solo songs.
