ATEEZ's 'GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5' Tops the Billboard 200
ATEEZ's fourteenth mini album GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5, released 26 June 2026, entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1 on the chart dated 5 July 2026 with 228,000 units, Star News reported. It is the group's third No. 1 on that chart.
What happened
GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5 is ATEEZ’s fourteenth mini album — a short-form release, typically five or six tracks, that Korean labels issue between full studio albums. Electronic Times reported that it came out on 26 June 2026 at 1 p.m. KST, led by the title track BAD, a Brazilian funk song, with MAMACITA, TOXIN, Fallin’ and Body filling out the tracklist. The same report credited members Hongjoong and Mingi on the writing across the album’s tracks. The Hollywood actor Chase Infiniti appears in the music video for BAD.
Soompi reported that in the day after release the album reached number one on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 26 regions, while BAD reached number one on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least eight regions and topped Korea’s Bugs realtime chart.
When and where
The entry is on the Billboard 200 chart dated 5 July 2026. The Billboard 200 is the weekly United States albums chart that combines sales with streaming, and Star News and SBS News both reported the result on 6 July 2026.
Star News put the first week at 228,000 album units, made up of 223,000 pure album sales and 5,000 SEA units — streaming-equivalent albums, the figure that converts on-demand streams into album units. SBS News reported the same 228,000 total and the same 223,000 in pure album sales.
The cycle continued in Japan: a showcase was held in Tokyo on 28 July 2026, and a Japanese version of BAD was released the next day, 29 July 2026, as ATEEZ’s fifth Japanese single, with two new songs, Seeker and Higher.
Why it matters
This is ATEEZ’s third number one on the Billboard 200. Star News and SBS News both named the earlier two as the studio album THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL and the eleventh mini album GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2.
Star News reported that Part.5 was also the group’s ninth consecutive top-ten entry on the Billboard 200. Both outlets described the 228,000-unit week as ATEEZ’s own highest first-week figure in the United States; Star News noted it passed the 195,000 units recorded by GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4 in February 2026.
