Miyeon (미연) is the main vocalist of i-dle, the CUBE Entertainment group who debuted on 2 May 2018 as (G)I-DLE. She released her second solo mini album MY, Lover on 3 November 2025.
Miyeon (미연) is the main vocalist of i-dle, the five-member CUBE Entertainment group. She debuted with them on 2 May 2018 with the first mini album I am and its title track ‘LATATA’, under the name the group carried then, (G)I-DLE. The group’s Japanese official profile gives her birth date as 31 January 1997.
Segye Ilbo named her as i-dle’s main vocalist in its report of 3 November 2025. The group changed its name from (G)I-DLE to i-dle in May 2025.
Her first solo mini album MY came out in 2022, and the second, MY, Lover, at 6 p.m. KST on 3 November 2025 — three and a half years later, as Segye Ilbo put it. The title track is the pop ballad ‘Say My Name’, and the pre-release ‘Reno (Feat. Colde)’ came out on 28 October.
Miyeon worked across the second mini album. She is credited as a lyricist on ‘F.F.L.Y’ and ‘You And No One Else’, and before it she released ‘Sky Walking’, a song of her own that she had first performed on a solo stage of an i-dle world tour, as a digital single.
