i-dle are a five-member CUBE Entertainment girl group: Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua. They debuted on 2 May 2018 under the name (G)I-DLE, changed it to i-dle on their seventh anniversary in May 2025, and released their ninth mini album We made in July 2026.

Who i-dle are
i-dle are a five-member girl group under CUBE Entertainment. The agency and the group’s own YouTube channel write the name i-dle (아이들). The group debuted on 2 May 2018 with the mini album I am and its title track ‘LATATA’, under the name (G)I-DLE. The members today are Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua, and the fandom is called NEVERLAND.
There were six members at the debut. On 14 August 2021 the agency said that Soojin had left and that the group would continue as five, and it has worked as five since. In December 2024 all five renewed their contracts with CUBE Entertainment.
On 2 May 2025, the group’s seventh anniversary, the name changed from (G)I-DLE to i-dle; the agency said it had removed the G from the former name. The first album under the new name, the eighth mini album We are, followed on 19 May that year.

The most recent title track is ‘Gimme Dat Love’, from the ninth mini album We made, released on 6 July 2026. On 27 January that year the group released the digital single ‘Mono (Feat. skaiwater)’, which etnews reported as the first group song it had made with an outside artist since its debut. The full-length album before that is 2, released on 29 January 2024, with the title track ‘Super Lady’.
