수인
Sooin (수인) is a member of MEOVV, which debuted in September 2024, and had been a THEBLACKLABEL trainee since 2019. In September 2025 she attended Bottega Veneta's show in Milan.
Newsis reported that on 26 August 2024 THEBLACKLABEL introduced Sooin as the third member of MEOVV through its official social media channels. According to the same article, she attended the Seoul School of Performing Arts and had been a trainee at the company since 2019.
That time carries into what she does for the group now. In a W Korea interview published on 23 April 2026, Sooin said that because her trainee years were long, she goes back over the moves the choreographer has taught on her own so that she can pass them on to the other members. “Even when I practise alone, I try to do what I can for the team.”
In the same interview Sooin said her singing voice is on the husky side, so songs that call for singing hard or focusing the sound had been difficult, and that she keeps taking vocal lessons to make up for it. Asked about a solo stage, she said she had not yet fully shown herself through singing and answered, “I’d also like to make a stage where I seriously present my singing, in my own voice.”
She also talked about the recording studio. When the members first recorded one song and played it to the producer, the answer was that each of them seemed to understand the song’s emotion a little differently, so they all gathered in one place and recorded it again and again until their views came together. Sooin looked back on it with: “When it was finished, I was so proud!”
At the showcase for the second mini album BITE NOW on 1 June 2026, held at the Cube Convention Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, Sooin said she “wanted to show a cat evolving into a predator” (Ilgan Sports). The epithet she hoped to earn with these promotions was “lovely predator”, and Star News reported her reason as “the wish to be a strong predator at least on stage, while showing a lovely charm the rest of the time”.
Her share in shaping a stage shows too. In an interview Ilgan Sports published in July 2026, MEOVV looked back on their opening performance at the Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) in November 2025, and Sooin said that at rehearsal “we spent the longest time just on setting up this intro part, to match the on-site camera angles and the wide movement lines perfectly.”
Sooin attended Bottega Veneta’s Summer 2026 collection show in Milan, Italy, on 27 September 2025, local time. Singlelist reported that it was the debut collection of the creative director Louise Trotter. Seoul Shinmun reported on 18 November that Bottega Veneta had covered the December issue of Dazed with the actor Go Hyun-jung, the model Woo Sung-ah and Sooin, and W Korea introduced Sooin as an ambassador for the brand in its April 2026 interview.
