What happened

MEOVV released their new single, ‘GO HARD’, on 12 October 2026. Their agency, THEBLACKLABEL, announced the release on its official social media that day and posted the music video for the title track of the same name. The single carries two songs, the title track ‘GO HARD’ and the B-side ‘Indestructible’.

According to Topstar News, the music video went up on THEBLACKLABEL’s official YouTube channel at 6 p.m. on the 12th. The outlet checked the original upload on 13 October and counted 5.91 million views, the figure on the day after the video went up. In THEBLACKLABEL’s description of the work, as Topstar News relayed it, the video opens in a space surrounded by rules and expectations and unfolds into a story of growth, of finding freedom and individuality. Slist reported that the three-minute video portrays MEOVV’s day and night by contrast.

When and where

The first week ran as follows. On the 13th, THEBLACKLABEL posted a performance video for ‘GO HARD’ on its official social media. On the 15th, MEOVV gave their first music show performance of the song on Mnet’s M Countdown. In the interview before the stage, Narin sang a line of the song live, and the other members showed its point choreography in advance. On the 16th they appeared on KBS 2TV’s Music Bank in National Museum of Korea, on an open-air stage in front of the museum’s Mirror Pond. On the 17th they performed ‘GO HARD’ on MBC’s Show! Music Core. THEBLACKLABEL had announced the release date on its official social media on 1 October.

Why it matters

‘GO HARD’ is MEOVV’s first release in four months, after the second EP BITE NOW in June. According to the song credits, Narin, Gawon, Ella and Anna co-wrote the title track’s lyrics. Slist reported that the chant repeating ‘GO HARD’ carries a message meant to give courage, to oneself and toward the world. The outlet also wrote that the single focuses on the process of forging one’s own path, and offers encouragement to people passing through the same time at different speeds. Topstar News reported that the B-side ‘Indestructible’ is about making oneself strong again after being hurt. Before the M Countdown stage, the members said, “We’ll show you a side of us made stronger by honesty and confidence, so please look forward to it.”

The sales count for the release week is also in. On Circle Chart’s album chart for week 42 (11 to 17 October), ‘GO HARD’ entered at number 12 with 41,472 copies. Its Nemo version, ‘GO HARD (Nemo)’, was at number 23 with 9,822 copies. On the same week’s download chart, the title track ‘GO HARD’ was at number 15 and ‘Indestructible’ at number 57.
