Why Is ATEEZ Everywhere in 2026?
A July 2025 contract renewal let ATEEZ plan a full year. Then came a February album, an Asia and Australia tour leg, a London headline slot, a US number-one album, a Japanese single and fan meetings in Seoul and Yokohama.
What happened
The year starts before the year. Sports Kyunghyang reported that all eight ATEEZ members renewed their contracts with their agency, KQ Entertainment, in July 2025 — the point at which a group and its company can commit to a long-range schedule. In the same month the IN YOUR FANTASY world tour opened in Incheon, and Korea Herald reported that it had already played 12 cities in North America before reaching Asia.
The first album of the new cycle arrived on 6 February 2026: GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4, led by the title track Adrenaline, described by Sports Kyunghyang as the group’s first release after the renewal.
The tour then moved through Asia and Australia. Per Korea Herald, the leg opened in Taipei on 24 January 2026, followed by Jakarta on 31 January and Singapore on 22 February, with Melbourne, Sydney, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Macao and Bangkok between March and April. The outlet noted that the Australian dates marked the group’s return to the country after about six years.
In early summer the schedule moved to Europe. Korea JoongAng Daily reported that ATEEZ headlined the BST Hyde Park concert series in London on 28 June 2026; the 2026 line-up also included Garth Brooks, Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, Duran Duran, Pitbull and Lewis Capaldi.
A week later came the album result. Star News reported that GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5 entered the Billboard 200 at number one on the chart dated 5 July 2026, the group’s third number one on that chart — covered in a separate article on this site. The fresher detail is what happened next: Korea Herald reported that in its second week the album was 19th on the Billboard 200, held number one on Billboard’s World Albums chart for a second consecutive week, was second on Top Album Sales and 18th on the Artist 100.
July and August closed the run in two markets at once. Korea Herald reported a fifth Japanese single released on 29 July 2026, preceded by a showcase in Tokyo on 28 July. Korea JoongAng Daily reported that the fan meeting series ATINY’S VOYAGE : TINY MYSTERY ran at Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seongbuk District, Seoul, on 17, 18 and 19 July, with a second round at K-Arena Yokohama on 4, 5 and 6 August.
Why is it trending?
There is no single event driving the name; there is a calendar with almost no gaps. Between February and August 2026 ATEEZ released two GOLDEN HOUR albums, toured Asia and Australia, headlined an outdoor concert series in London, charted at number one in the United States, put out a Japanese single and held six fan meeting dates across two countries. Each of those items reaches a different audience — a Jakarta concertgoer, a London festival ticket-holder, a US chart follower, a Japanese single buyer — and they arrived close enough together that the coverage overlapped rather than alternated.
