ATEEZ in Japan: The Fifth Single and the Yokohama Fan Meeting

What happened

ATEEZ’s fifth Japanese single was released on 29 July 2026, led by a Japanese-language recording of ‘Bad’, Korea JoongAng Daily reported on 8 July 2026. The single carries six tracks: Japanese versions of ‘Bad’, ‘Seeker’ and ‘Higher’, each paired with an instrumental version.

The group marked the release with a showcase in Tokyo on 28 July 2026, the day before the single arrived. What the Japanese ‘Bad’ sounds like is covered in a separate article on this site.

Around the single sat two rounds of the same fan meeting series, ATINY’S VOYAGE : TINY MYSTERY. A fan meeting is a ticketed event built around talk segments and games with the audience rather than a full concert set. The first round ran in Seoul in July 2026, the second at K-Arena Yokohama in August 2026.

When and where

• 17, 18 and 19 July 2026 — ATINY’S VOYAGE : TINY MYSTERY at Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seongbuk District, Seoul, per Korea JoongAng Daily (28 April 2026).
• 28 July 2026 — showcase in Tokyo marking the single’s release, per Korea JoongAng Daily (8 July 2026).
• 29 July 2026 — fifth Japanese single released, led by the Japanese-language ‘Bad’.
• 4, 5 and 6 August 2026 — the same fan meeting series at K-Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture, announced in Korea Herald’s 14 May 2026 report and detailed by Korea JoongAng Daily.

All of these dates have passed.

Why it matters

The single is counted as the group’s fifth in Japan, a release line numbered separately from its Korean discography, so a Japanese single or album does not shift the Korean count.

The record immediately before this single on that line was the second Japanese full-length album, Ashes to Light. Korea Herald reported on 25 September 2025 that it topped Oricon’s weekly album ranking and its weekly combined album ranking, after having topped the daily album chart. Oricon is the Japanese company whose sales-based rankings are the standard reference point for physical releases there. Korea Herald reported on 14 May 2026 that the album recorded the group’s highest first-week sales in Japan to date.

That is the context the July and August 2026 dates sit in: a Japanese schedule with its own numbering, its own showcase and its own arena run.
