춤 (CHOOM)

The record

춤 (CHOOM) is BABYMONSTER’s third mini album, released on 4 May 2026. It followed the group’s second mini album, WE GO UP of October 2025, and carries four songs: ‘MOON’, ‘춤 (CHOOM)’, ‘I LIKE IT’ and ‘LOCKED IN’. The title track is ‘춤 (CHOOM)’.

The album introduction YG Entertainment published on Bugs explains the name CHOOM as the Korean word chum (dance) written in Latin letters the way it is pronounced. The same text introduces the title track as a hip-hop dance song led by a synth riff and a heavy bass. The credits list YG, P.K, DEE.P and 2K on the title track’s composition and arrangement. The title track’s video came out on release day, and videos for ‘I LIKE IT’ and ‘MOON’ followed in July and August.

The tour

The same outlet reported that the title track and other songs from this record were performed in Kobe, and described the Japan leg’s finale as the group’s first dome concert, at Kyocera Dome Osaka in September. The tour’s schedule and scale are set out in why BABYMONSTER’s Kyocera Dome Osaka shows are its first dome stage.
