Lara (라라) is a member of KATSEYE, the six-member girl group on HYBE x Geffen Records, the label HYBE and Geffen Records set up together. The group was formed through The Debut: Dream Academy, the audition programme that ran from September to November 2023, and debuted on 28 June 2024. The official site prints a city in brackets beside each member’s name; beside Lara’s it prints Los Angeles. Grammy.com described Lara as Indian in August 2024. In an Associated Press interview published on 9 September 2025, Lara said she wanted to “perform in India so, so bad” and to “take the girls to where my family’s from in India”.
