Yoonchae (윤채) is a member of KATSEYE. The group sits on HYBE x Geffen Records, the label HYBE and Geffen Records set up together. The official members page hangs one city on each name, and of the six, hers is the only one in Korea: Seoul. The audition that assembled the team was The Debut: Dream Academy in 2023, and the debut came on 28 June 2024.
There is one dated Korean awards stage. On 25 December 2025, at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, Yoonchae opened the 2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon with YEONJUN of TOMORROW X TOGETHER. Top Star News reported that the two began with ‘Let Me Tell You’, a track from YEONJUN’s first solo album NO LABELS: PART 01, and went on to the title track, ‘Talk to You’.
The recorded version of that first song features Daniela. In an interview with Bridge Economy on 16 December 2025, when the stage was announced, Yoonchae said, “I’m grateful. I’ll try to carry it as well as Daniela did.”
In February 2026 Yoonchae appeared on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and talked about the Grammy Awards ceremony. As Herald Business reported on 6 February 2026, she said she had been “a fan of BLACKPINK since I was nine”, and that when she ran into ROSÉ at the ceremony, “I meant to greet her in Korean, but I was so nervous I could not get the words out and greeted her in English.” She added that ROSÉ “heard me and asked whether I could speak Korean, and that is how we greeted each other. She was really kind.”
KATSEYE’s music videos and stage films go up on HYBE LABELS and the group’s own channel. Yoonchae’s account addresses are in the fact panel at the top of this page.
