The group was formed through The Debut: Dream Academy, the audition programme that ran from September to November 2023, and debuted on 28 June 2024. The official site prints a city in brackets beside each member’s name; beside Manon’s it prints Lucerne. Grammy.com reported in August 2024 that Manon was raised in Switzerland to Swiss Italian and Ghanaian parents.
