Who are SEVENTEEN?
SEVENTEEN (세븐틴) are a thirteen-member group under Pledis Entertainment: S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino. They debuted on 26 May 2015, and their fandom is called CARAT. The group works in three units — hip-hop, vocal and performance — which appear as separate stages inside a single set, as they did at Glastonbury.
Where to start
“THUNDER” is the title track of HAPPY BURSTDAY, the fifth full-length album, released on 26 May 2025 — ten years to the day after the debut. The album carries three group songs and a solo track for each of the thirteen members.
Several members are currently completing South Korea’s mandatory military service, which the group has been staggering; Jeonghan was discharged in June 2026, the first of the thirteen. In July 2026 Pledis said all thirteen had agreed to a second contract renewal, with those still serving to sign as they are discharged.
The group’s own YouTube channel and HYBE LABELS carry the official music videos and performance clips. K-Culture Radar links to official uploads rather than rehosting them.
