The episode of Sana’s Naengterview (사나의 냉터뷰) with RESCENE’s Minami as its guest went up at 7 p.m. KST on 3 September 2026 on the 117 YouTube channel. It runs 54 minutes and 24 seconds, and Seoul Economic Daily reported that it passed one million views in under a day. The July notice and the 2 September pre-release are covered in the earlier story; this one sets out what two outlets reported after the episode itself went out.
Her family came over from Japan
Seoul Economic Daily reported on 3 September that Minami had brought her mother and younger sibling over from Japan to watch the shoot. According to the same report, Minami said in the episode that her whole family are ONCE, TWICE’s fandom, and that her father, who could not come, is enough of a fan to have gone alone to a concert by MISAMO, the unit made up of TWICE’s Japanese members.
TV Report, the same day, set down what was said in that passage. Minami said, “When I told them I was going to meet Sana this time, they said they wanted to come and see her even for a second”, and, seeing her mother in tears, said, “Why are you crying like this?”, adding, “I think Mum finds this picture unreal too. She’s a fan as well. Dad went to a MISAMO concert on his own.”
The first greeting in a Music Bank corridor, and a letter
The pair had spoken once before, in a corridor outside the waiting rooms at Music Bank, TV Report reported. According to the same report, Minami recalled thinking, “I knew I’d regret it if I didn’t say something right then.” Sana, who had gone to support a member of another team on a music show stage, said: “Minami asked me so earnestly whether she could say hello. I was so grateful she did. She wrote me a long letter too. I was so grateful I put it on social media. And after that I saw all the messages Minami sent her fans about it.”
Fan chants and a track from 2016
Seoul Economic Daily wrote that in the episode Minami got everything right, from TWICE’s official fan chant to the one for ‘YES OR YES’, which is known to be hard, to naming TWICE members from their faces. According to the same report she also correctly named ‘Touch down’, a track released in 2016, when she was ten, and Sana recognised her as a complete ONCE. TV Report said Minami had been to TWICE’s dome tour in 2019 and performed the fan chants perfectly.
When she heard she had been booked
According to TV Report, Minami recalled being booked for Sana’s Naengterview and said, “I screamed. It felt like the whole company was shaking. I thought the building was coming down.” The same report said that after taking Sana’s hand Minami said, “I can’t film”, and, “I really think I’m going to cry”, with her eyes welling up. Minami also said, “I think I should be paying to be on this. I’ll pay 30 million won.”
What the two of them talked about
Later in the episode the two shared what was on their minds, Seoul Economic Daily reported. According to the same report Minami said, “There’s a lot that doesn’t work out however hard you try. I want to be better at it and I’m not, and that’s what gets to me”, then steadied herself with “What I’m going through is nothing. It isn’t only me.” Sana answered, “I think it’s only the people who think like that who do well.” At the end of the episode Sana shyly copied Minami’s catchphrase, ‘yaho’. Where that line came from is set out in the story on the gyaru character.
