What happened

The 2026 K-World Dream Awards are held on 27 August 2026 at KINTEX, the exhibition centre in Goyang just north-west of Seoul. Soompi’s lineup report lists RESCENE among the performers together with ATEEZ, P1Harmony, RIIZE, AHOF, QWER, ILLIT, LE SSERAFIM, &TEAM, xikers, 82MAJOR, KickFlip, MEOVV and Hearts2Hearts, with Jun Hyun Moo and Jang Do Yeon hosting for a fourth consecutive year. The 2026 edition marks the ceremony’s 10th anniversary.

In Japan, U-NEXT streams the ceremony live and exclusively on 27 August. Viewing arrangements for other countries had not been listed in the sources available when this article was written.

Why is it trending?

For RESCENE the date closes a summer that began with a two-year-old song. Melon named them the reverse run artist of the first half of 2026 after ‘LOVE ATTACK’ climbed to number one, and the remake single ‘Pretty Girl’ brought their first music show wins on The Show (14 July) and Show! Music Core (25 July). In mid-August they were at KCON LA in Los Angeles, which ran from 14 to 16 August: Billboard’s festival report has the group playing two Toyota Music Den showcases and a Dance Stage by Sanrio session across the weekend, and OSEN reported their M Countdown stage at Crypto.com Arena on 16 August, local time, opening with a re-arranged ‘LOVE ATTACK’. An award show with this lineup is the first bill of this size the group have shared as a charting act rather than a rookie.
