What Reaches RESCENE by Post, and What Is Returned

Sending something to a Korean agency splits into two, and the rules are not the same. One is the letter — the fan letter. The other is support: the gifts or backing that fans pool together.

RESCENE’s agency, THE MUZE Entertainment, has set both out in notices, and the current standard is 「RESCENE 팬레터 및 서포트 관련 안내 (260702 ver.)」, posted to the official space on 2 July 2026. That notice was rewritten for the company’s office move. The address changed with it, and where and how a letter may be handed over was written out again. The two notices from 2024 are the earlier version, and they are fuller on how a support round opens.

This guide reads those notices: what is delivered and what is returned, where to send and what to write on the envelope, why support does not open at any time, and what stops delivery when posting from abroad. Everything was checked against the notices themselves on 11 September 2026, and what the notices do not state is not stated here. This guide explains the rules; it does not ask anyone to send anything.

1. Separate the letter from the support

The first sentence of the notice of 28 August 2024 draws the line. The agency states that for everything except fan mail — every gift and every support — it accepts the thought alone, and that gifts arriving at the office after that notice cannot be passed on and will all be returned.

That does not close support permanently. The same notice says that when a support round can go ahead, it will be announced separately. The letter has a standing route; a support exists only when a round is opened.

2. Read the routes a fan letter travels

The current notice gives one postal route. A letter goes by post to the published address, and the notice states that delivery by any other method, such as registered mail or a parcel, is not possible.

On site it depends on the occasion. At official schedules and public broadcast schedules a letter cannot be handed to a member directly; it goes through the staff on site. At a fansign a handwritten letter may be handed to the member directly, though the notice says a gift or a photobook is not.

The notice also names the places where nothing can be handed over at all: the agency, the dormitory, hair and make-up shops, and the car parks of non-public schedules. At those places delivery is not possible even through staff.

The support notice from 2024 puts the same principle in other words. Every form of support, the fan letter included, may only be passed through the support manager; it cannot be handed over through an artist, a company employee or a broadcaster’s staff.

3. Read what may go inside the envelope

The notice states that only fan mail in the form of a letter or a postcard is delivered, and that gifts, photobooks and the like cannot be enclosed.

That condition follows from the returns rule above. Anything in the envelope that is not the letter is the gift the notice was talking about, and gifts are not passed on.

4. Write the address as the notice gives it

The address the current notice publishes is (06037) 559-8, Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, THE MUZE Entertainment RESCENE, followed by the name of the member it is for.

That address changed in July 2026. The notice states that it is issuing new guidance on fan letters and support because the company has moved offices, and the earlier version gave a different address.

If the recipient line carries a member’s name, the sender’s line cannot be left empty. That is the next item.

5. Read why the sender’s details decide the outcome

The notice states that a posted letter whose sender details are not filled in, so that the sender cannot be identified from the outside, cannot be passed on and may be returned.

The condition is about what can be read on the outside of the envelope. Whatever is written inside, if the sender cannot be identified from the exterior, the outcome the notice states is a return.

6. Read when a support round opens

A support is not a standing route. The notice of 16 August 2024 states that no support can go ahead other than the birthday and anniversary supports announced separately.

That year’s support for May, one of RESCENE’s members, is the worked example. Applications were taken through a form linked in the notice and closed at 23:59 KST on 19 August 2024. The notice said a support received after the application period would be difficult to deliver, and that the handover would be explained separately once an application was complete. That round accepted applications only for gifts going to May.

7. Read what a support may not include

The same notice lists what does not go through. No food that could spoil and no fresh flowers, with decorative cakes and artificial flowers named as the exceptions. Anything enclosed that can be converted into cash stops the delivery.

The handover itself is one line: only items the support manager has checked can go ahead as a support.

8. Read the conditions that apply from abroad

Post that crosses a border carries charges, and the notice says which side they stop. Where EMS customs charges or cash-on-delivery charges arise, the item cannot be passed on.

A parcel sent so that the charge falls on the recipient reaches the outcome the notice states, whatever is inside it. The membership is open to fans worldwide, residents at home and overseas alike; this postal condition is a separate matter.

9. Find where the current notices are published

The current version sits in the RESCENE official space on Plus Chat, pinned to the community’s Notice board. Its title carries the version, so it reads as 「RESCENE 팬레터 및 서포트 관련 안내 (260702 ver.)」.

The two notices from 2024 are on the agency’s own site, themuze.kr, on its notice board. What that site is changed in November 2024: as its own notice says, the official home left themuze.kr on 13 November 2024 for the Plus Chat space, and themuze.kr carries album and event information from then on.
