What You Are Buying When You Buy a Weverse Membership
Three paid things on Weverse carry similar names: the official membership sold per artist on Weverse Shop, the Digital Membership opened per community as a monthly subscription, and the Weverse DM subscription. This guide reads Weverse's own notices to tell them apart and to say where the price and term are written.
Following an act on Weverse opens a payment window again and again, and those windows do not all sell the same thing. Three products carry similar names, and they differ in where they are sold and how they are charged.
This guide reads six notices posted by Weverse and Weverse Shop, and two help-centre sections, to tell the three apart. What the notices do not state — the price, the term, the refund conditions — is left unstated here, with only the place that does state it named.
1. “Weverse membership” does not name one thing
Three different paid things on Weverse carry similar names: the official membership an act sells per artist on Weverse Shop, the Digital Membership that Weverse itself opens per community as a monthly subscription, and the Weverse DM subscription.
They are sold in different places and charged in different ways. The Digital Membership notice drew the line itself, describing the product as a monthly subscription membership distinct from the official membership sold on Weverse Shop. What follows is what each one is, and where its price and term are written, read from Weverse’s own notices.
2. The official membership is a per-artist product, and the notice does not state its price
An official membership opens per artist and is sold on Weverse Shop. The notices that announce one carry neither a price nor a term. The NCT WISH membership and kit notice of January 2026 directed readers to the product detail page, and the QWER kit notice of December 2025 ends with “Please check the description page for more details.”
So the place that states the price and the term is not the notice but that artist’s product page in that country shop. One act’s paid membership, read benefit by benefit, is set out in a guide to joining an official fan club.
3. The Digital Membership is a monthly subscription sold by the platform
Weverse opens the Digital Membership itself; an act does not. The advance notice of 2 December 2024 described it as a monthly subscription membership carrying the premium benefits that can be delivered digitally.
When it opens differs by community. The opening notice the next day said the opening date may differ from community to community.
4. The Digital Membership is charged every month unless it is cancelled
The sentence the advance notice gives is that unless the subscription is cancelled, it is charged automatically every month. That is what “monthly subscription” means here in practice.
The help centre files the Digital Membership under four inquiry types: payment, refund, how to use, and errors (as of 11 September 2026).
5. The notice lists eight benefits for the Digital Membership
The advance notice lists eight: a members-only mark, a badge, access to membership-only content, unlimited fan letters each month, up to 30 VOD downloads each month, removal of video advertising, viewing extras (voice emphasis, AI upscaling, Dolby Vision), and up to 10 per cent extra when charging Jelly.
That list belongs to the Digital Membership. The benefits of an official membership are written per artist on its own product page.
6. An official membership is bought per country shop
A change applied on 20 March 2024 settled this. Before it, one account could buy an artist’s membership in only one country shop; after it, one account can buy the same artist’s membership in several country shops.
Within one country shop, the same notice said, only one membership can still be held, and each country shop applies its own validity period from the date of purchase. Benefits stay as they are per point of purchase, and the membership cards can all be seen by swiping through the membership menu.
7. A kit is not the membership; it is a separate product only members may buy
A kit opens alongside a membership but is not the same product. The NCT WISH notice said the kit may be bought only by those who have bought that membership, and limited it to one per ID for each kit concept released within the membership’s validity period.
The sales window is written separately as well. That kit sold from 23 January 2026 at 2 p.m. to 23 February 2026 at 11:59 p.m., and the QWER kit sold from 29 December 2025 at 2 p.m. to 12 January 2026 at 11:59 p.m., once per buyer within the window.
8. The Weverse DM subscription is a third payment
Weverse DM is a recurring subscription separate from any membership, and it is priced in Jelly. The official notice said the subscription price changes from 15 Jelly to 17 Jelly, applied from 20 January 2026, Korean time, with the timing varying by app market and region.
The same notice said it applies to recurring subscribers on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and that switching to a web subscription keeps the existing 15 Jelly price.
9. Joining, verification, renewal and cancellation are filed as help-centre topics
The Weverse help centre files five topics under membership: joining, join verification, renewal, information changes, and cancellation and refunds (as of 11 September 2026).
None of the notices read here states the price, the term or the refund conditions of an official membership. Those three are answered by the product page for that artist and country shop, and by those help-centre topics; the notice is the document that points at them.
Frequently asked questions
How much is a Weverse membership?
The Weverse and Weverse Shop notices read here do not state a price. They direct readers to the product detail page, and the price and the term are set there, per artist and per country shop.
Can I buy the same artist’s membership in several shops?
Since 20 March 2024 one account can buy one artist’s membership in several country shops. Within a single country shop only one can be held, and each shop applies its own validity period from the date of purchase.
Is the Digital Membership charged automatically?
The advance notice states that unless the subscription is cancelled, it is charged automatically every month.
Can I buy a membership kit on its own?
The NCT WISH notice said the kit may be bought only by those who hold that membership, and limited it to one per ID for each kit concept released within the membership’s validity period.
Is a Weverse DM subscription the same as a membership?
No. The Weverse DM subscription is a recurring app-market subscription priced in Jelly. The official notice said it changes from 15 Jelly to 17 Jelly from 20 January 2026.
Where are cancellation and refunds explained?
The Weverse help centre files cancellation and refunds under membership, and payment and refund under the Digital Membership (as of 11 September 2026).
