The Show Woni Asked For: RESCENE's Woni and Minami on 'Salon Drip' EP.150

There was a programme Woni had said she wanted to do. The episode went up on TEO’s official YouTube channel on 28 July 2026 as EP.150, running 43 minutes and 23 seconds, under a title inviting ‘Woni-chan and Minami-chan’ to the staff room for a consultation. As of 1 September 2026 it showed 3,222,858 views. The guests were RESCENE’s Woni and Minami.

The first paycheque

The host, Jang Do-yeon, asked the two what they most wanted to do with their first payout. According to My Daily, Woni said she wanted to buy her mother beef, and explained why: beef is a precious thing to eat, she said, and it was what her mother bought when she had worked hard and earned; now she wanted to earn and buy the same in return. According to TenAsia, Minami answered the same question by saying she wanted to give it to her parents. My Daily reported that Jang Do-yeon’s eyes reddened at this point and that Woni and Minami were in tears too, and TenAsia reported that Jang told the RESCENE members she hoped they would not get hurt. The episode also turned to the months of the reverse run. According to Sports Khan, Woni said the members started playing ‘LOVE ATTACK’ two minutes before each hour, and that because the volume had to be up and the track had to play to the end, they checked on one another as they streamed. Minami said she was glad to be coming on the show having reached number one, and Woni said that as a child she had watched the fans of senior idols line up the charts and wondered whether that would ever happen in her own life, and that it had. Of the time before that, Woni said she had thought there would be limits because theirs was not a big company, and that the reality was more so than she expected: there were no music show stages. The same report says the two took small bookings as well, busking by the Han River and performing at a primary school sports day, and that Woni said that because theirs is not a big company they have to think about where they stand and work harder.
