RESCENE Take Two Awards at the 2026 SPOTV K-POP AWARDS

What happened

RESCENE (리센느) won the Global Connect award and the SPOTV Ambassador award at the 2026 SPOTV K-POP AWARDS (the 2026 SKA) on 6 September 2026. SPOTV NEWS reported that the group took the Global Connect award in the first half of the ceremony and then the SPOTV Ambassador award. Sports Khan wrote that RESCENE carried two trophies home that night and that, added to a double win at an earlier ceremony, the group has now taken four awards across award shows.

When and where

The ceremony was held on the afternoon of 6 September 2026 at Ilsan KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. Aju Business Daily reported that RESCENE attended the photo wall the same afternoon, standing from the left as May, Liv, Zena, Woni and Minami. According to SPOTV NEWS the 2026 SKA was broadcast live on SPOTV2 and SPOTV PLUS, and streamed online through Daum from the red carpet at 3 p.m.

Why it matters

The same report said the 2026 SKA combines an assessment based on Circle Chart data with a global fan vote open to fans worldwide, and that it is run jointly by SPOTV and the fandom platform BIGC — which is also why one of the two awards RESCENE received carries the name SPOTV Ambassador. In their acceptance speech the group said, “This is our second award from SPOTV today, and we are so grateful to be given such a big one; we will work to become a RESCENE that leads the future of K-pop and sport.”
