Jaemin is a member of NCT DREAM, the six-member SM Entertainment group who debuted in August 2016. He appeared in a webtoon adaptation in 2019 and joins Jeno in the short-form drama Windup in 2026.

The Korea Herald reported on 11 November 2025 that he would appear in the short-form drama Windup, co-produced by his label and airing in the first half of 2026. He plays the transfer student who offers to manage the high-school pitcher played by Jeno. The same piece noted that he had acted before, in Method to Hate You, a two-episode webtoon adaptation released in 2019.
On the sixth mini album Beat It Up, out on 17 November 2025, Jaemin sang the unit track ‘Tempo’ with Jeno and Jisung. The Korea Herald described it as a hip-hop number drawing on the battle rap and boom bap of the 1990s.
