Jeno is a member of NCT DREAM under SM Entertainment. He made his acting debut in the short-form drama Windup in January 2026, and in February debuted with Jaemin as the unit NCT JNJM.
Jeno is a member of NCT DREAM, under SM Entertainment. According to Segye Ilbo, SM first introduced him on 3 December 2013, alongside Seulgi and Taeyong, when it opened content for SM Rookies, its project for presenting trainees to the public.
SBS Entertainment News introduced him on 22 May 2018 as one of the new MCs of SBS MTV’s The Show for its spring revamp, alongside CLC’s Yeeun and Kim Yong-guk. Tenasia reported the broadcast of 26 November 2019 as the farewell he and Yeeun gave the show.
In between, in July 2019, he added lyrics to the mini album We Boom. The Hankook Ilbo wrote that he co-wrote ‘119’ with Jaemin, and that on ‘Dream Run’ he playfully worked in the titles and lines of songs NCT DREAM had released until then.
According to the Daegu Ilbo, he was due to throw the ceremonial first pitch at a Samsung Lions play-off game in October 2024, but rain called the game off. “I’m excited and happy to throw the play-off first pitch at Lions Park, where I always wanted to stand at least once,” he said at the time. The pitch came on 22 March 2025, at the Samsung–Kiwoom season opener at Daegu Samsung Lions Park, and Sports Q reported that he threw it without a bounce.
The next mound was a drama’s. Xportsnews reported that in the short-form drama Windup he plays Woo-jin, a pitcher who won a middle-school MVP award before the yips left him unable to throw a strike, and the series was released at 6 p.m. on 16 January 2026 on the short-form platform KITZ. Star News reported that it passed 3 million cumulative views in two days and 5 million by 9 a.m. on the 21st, and called it his first acting challenge. A film version, Windup: The Movie, opened exclusively at CGV on 2 July. The transfer student Tae-hee is played by Jaemin.
Billboard Korea reported on 26 January 2026 that he and Jaemin would debut as a new unit, NCT JNJM, on 23 February. Their first mini album, BOTH SIDES, holds six tracks, and its title track shares its name. In a Q&A with Xportsnews he said: “I focused on showing the album’s main theme, ‘duality’, well, both visually and musically.”
On the group side, on Beat It Up, released on 17 November 2025, he sang the unit track ‘Tempo’ with Jaemin and Jisung. The Korea Herald described it as a hip-hop track rooted in 1990s battle rap and boom bap.
WWD Korea reported in February 2025 that A’pieu, the cosmetics brand of Able C&C, had named him an ambassador. According to Sports Kyunghyang, the fashion brand Matin Kim announced on 31 March 2026 that it had chosen him as its male ambassador for the summer season, the first male ambassador the brand had named.
