Jisung is a member of NCT DREAM, the six-member SM Entertainment group who began with the debut single ‘Chewing Gum’ in August 2016. The Korea Herald reported that he had a brief spell as a child actor in 2011, in the drama Deep Rooted Tree and the film Unbowed.
Segye Ilbo reported that on 5 February 2026 he gave 250 million won to Samsung Seoul Hospital for pancreatic cancer research. He said he hoped the help, small as it was, would support medical research so that many people could live happily and without pain. SM Entertainment said on 20 August 2026 that Jisung and the five other members had all renewed their contracts.
