Who is Baek Ji-heon?
Baek Ji-heon (백지헌) is a member of fromis_9. The group debuted as nine on 24 January 2018 with the mini album To. Heart, and five members signed with the newly founded ASND in 2025 and resumed under the same name.
That line-up was settled the year before. Herald Muse reported that the final episode of Mnet’s Idol School, broadcast on 29 September 2017, confirmed the nine who would debut, and Baek Ji-heon was one of them.
Her name is on two tracks of the second full-length album Glow ME, released on 21 July 2026. The track list Sports Kyunghyang published on 8 July 2026 shows ‘Cold Blood’ as a unit track by Baek Ji-heon, Lee Chae-young and Lee Na-kyung, and in a written interview the same outlet ran on 20 July she named ‘DAY1’, which she wrote lyrics for, as her favourite song on the record: it had been a long time since she last wrote lyrics, she said, and she had written it thinking of the person she wanted to become, which is why she holds it closer.
Acting and broadcasting
Sports Kyunghyang reported on 13 August 2025 that she had been cast as Kwon Na-eun, the female lead of the film Nerd Rhapsody. It is her first acting role; the character is a singer-songwriter who transfers into the school, and the production company said she performs the guitar and the singing in the film herself.
She also appears on a history programme. Xports News reported on 11 August 2025 that season two of tvN STORY’s 벌거벗은 한국사 (Beolgeobeoseun Hanguksa), a lecture-based series on Korean history, would begin on 9 September with her among the new cast. On that first episode she said she had taken the state Korean History Proficiency Test, and passed it at the top grade, out of boredom during the pandemic, and she talked about the years before her debut: there had been opposition at home to her becoming an idol, so she made a deal with her parents to raise her grades, and she studied her way to second in her school.
Her brand work is one appointment so far. TopStar News reported on 17 March 2025 that she had been named the first official ambassador of the coloured-contact-lens brand 렌시스.
What to watch
Start with ‘Vitamin ME’, the title track of the second full-length album Glow ME, and with ‘DAY1’, which she wrote lyrics for. Ahead of that album, she told Star News on 20 July 2026 that she hoped the record would stay with flover as a happy memory. Official music videos and the group’s self-produced content are on the fromis_9 YouTube channel. K-Culture Radar links to official uploads rather than rehosting them.
