Baek Ji-heon백지헌백지헌
Baek Ji-heon is a member of fromis_9, the five-member girl group under ASND. Born on 17 April 2003, she came through Mnet's Idol School in 2017 and debuted on 24 January 2018; in 2025 she joined a Korean-history programme on tvN STORY and was cast as the female lead of the film Nerd Rhapsody.
Baek Ji-heon has made her own work off the stage from early on. Weverse Magazine’s interview of 28 January 2022 opened with ‘HoneY_log’, the personal series she plans and produces herself, and she said she had taught herself to edit: she looked up subtitles, cuts and shortcuts one by one, and a video that once took her one to two weeks now took about three days. Asked what she wanted to do next, she named hosting again and, because she loves dramas, acting. She had hosted the year before: Segye Ilbo reported that she presented the 12th INK Concert, Incheon’s K-pop concert, held online on 25 September 2021, with Jeno.
She writes lyrics too. Reporting the credits of the first full-length album Unlock My World on 17 May 2023, Xports News named her as a lyricist on ‘In the Mirror’ and ‘Prom Night’. Three years later, on the second full-length album Glow ME, released on 21 July 2026, the song she wrote lyrics for is ‘DAY1’. In a written interview Sports Kyunghyang ran on 20 July she named it her favourite song on the record: it had been a long time since she last wrote lyrics, she said, and she had written it thinking of the person she wanted to become, which is why she holds it closer. On the same record she sings the unit track ‘Cold Blood’ with Lee Chae-young and Lee Na-gyung, and in a Star News interview the same day she said she hoped the album would stay with flover as a happy memory.
Her first acting was in a music video. Ilgan Sports reported on 28 March 2025 that she would play the female lead in the music video for a new song by the singer Parc Jae-jung, the first thing she took on after moving to ASND. In the video for ‘자작곡’ (Jajakgok), released at 6 p.m. on 24 April, she and the actor Kim Yoon-woo play out the song’s story of an unconfessed crush. On 13 August that year Sports Kyunghyang reported that she had been cast as Kwon Na-eun, the female lead of the film Nerd Rhapsody; the character is a singer-songwriter who transfers into the school, and the production company said she performs the guitar and the singing in the film herself.
She also appears on a history programme. Xports News reported on 11 August 2025 that season two of tvN STORY’s 벌거벗은 한국사 (Beolgeobeoseun Hanguksa), a lecture-based series on Korean history, would begin on 9 September with her among the new cast. On that first episode she said she had taken the state Korean History Proficiency Test, and passed it at the top grade, out of boredom during the pandemic. The two strands are told in the story of her history programme and Nerd Rhapsody.
The hosting she spoke of came back. She was a special host of MBC’s Show! Music Core on 6 December 2025 with Song Ha-young and Park Ji-won (iMBC Entertainment), and again on episode 956, on 25 July 2026, with Song Ha-young and Lee Na-gyung (TopStar News). On 20 June 2026 she made her first appearance on JTBC’s Knowing Bros with Lee Chae-young, and said it had stung to go eight years in the business without meeting Kang Ho-dong, Electronic Times reported.
For brands, TopStar News reported on 17 March 2025 that she had been named the first official ambassador of the coloured-contact-lens brand 렌시스, and Ilgan Sports reported on 14 September 2026 that SHIONLE, the beauty brand of Shinan Cosmetics, had chosen her as its new brand model.

fromis_9 played three nights at Korea University's Hwajung Gymnasium in Seoul from 4 to 6 September 2026, opening their Asia tour TOMORROW GLOW. Sports Khan reported that the show ran from 'Rewind' to 'Vitamin ME', with two unit stages, fan songs and an encore. More cities are to be announced.
