Who is Natty?
Natty (나띠) is the main dancer of KISS OF LIFE, and the one member who debuted under her own name before the group did. Her first release was the single ‘NINETEEN’, put out by Swing Entertainment on 7 May 2020. She is from Thailand.
From Bangkok to Seoul
Edaily set out her starting point in an interview on 5 June 2020. She was working as a child advertising model in Thailand when she passed a JYP audition held there, and moved to Korea as a trainee. “Honestly, I didn’t know much about K-pop,” she recalled; she only looked JYP up online after she had passed. Her wish to become a singer took firm shape when she appeared on Mnet’s SIXTEEN. She was also on Mnet’s Idol School, which first aired on 13 July 2017.
She then trained again at Swing Entertainment, and in October 2019 appeared as a special guest at KCON 2019 THAILAND in Bangkok, where she sang Sunmi’s ‘Gashina’. ‘NINETEEN’ takes dreams and overcoming as its theme. “My long-term goal is to create a genre that is Natty’s own,” she said at the time. On 12 November 2020 she released ‘Teddy Bear’, an electronic dance track; her agency likened the teddy bear to her resolve to grow from a pure beginning and push past her limits.
The first KISS OF LIFE solo video
Before the group’s debut the four members’ solo tracks were released one by one, and hers came first: the music video for ‘Sugarcoat’, on 19 June 2023. Xportsnews wrote that in it she keeps busking and holds on to her dream through hard times. That December NME named the song among its 25 best K-pop songs of the year (the review is on the page for KISS OF LIFE). At the debut showcase on 5 July she said: “After working solo, it’s reassuring to be able to stand on stage with the members like this.”
She also writes lyrics for the group. According to Star News she co-wrote ‘My 808’ on Born to be XX with Belle, and she is credited as a lyricist on ‘Tell Me’ and ‘Painting’ from 224.
Features, and Thailand
She featured on Jay Park’s single ‘Taxi Blurr’, released on 28 May 2024, with Honey J choreographing her part. “I’m a really big fan, so it feels like a fan’s dream come true,” she said on KBS Cool FM’s Lee Eun-ji’s Gayo Plaza. At the 224 showcase in June 2025 she told The Korea Herald that, as a Thai artist working in Korea, she wanted “to become a positive influence on people in Thailand and international trainees who dream of becoming K-pop idols”. Around the single SWEAT in August 2026 she said the B-side ‘WHAT!’ suits Thai festivals such as Songkran, and that she hoped to perform it there.
