Who are NCT WISH?
NCT WISH (엔시티 위시) are a six-member boy group under SM Entertainment: Sion, Riku, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo and Sakuya. They were formed through the pre-debut reality programme NCT Universe: LASTART, broadcast from July 2023, and worked as NCT NEW TEAM during the pre-debut period. Avex’s official portal records that the group name NCT WISH was announced on 18 January 2024 and that they debuted on 21 February 2024 with ‘WISH’, released in Korea and Japan on the same day.
The name carries the catchphrase “WISH for Our WISH” — supporting everyone’s wishes and dreams through music and love. Avex’s portal describes the line-up as four Japanese members and two Korean ones, avex handles the group’s Japanese releases, and the Japanese fan club run by SM ENTERTAINMENT JAPAN is called NCTzen WISH-JAPAN.
