What happened

Karina of aespa took the stage at Waterbomb Seoul 2026 (WATERBOMB SEOUL 2026) on 25 July 2026, on the outdoor Global Stage at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. According to Newsen, she sang her solo songs ‘GOOD STUFF’ and ‘UP’ among others that day, and Waterbomb’s official social media posted video of her set. Waterbomb’s official YouTube channel posted the ‘GOOD STUFF’ performance separately the next day, 26 July. The video’s description says it was produced with support from the Korea Creative Content Agency.

The appearance had been announced three months earlier. YTN star reported on 22 April that Waterbomb’s organisers had confirmed Karina for the Green Team line-up on 25 July. According to the same report, Karina had also performed at Waterbomb in 2025, which makes this her second year in a row.

Both solo songs in the set came out of concerts before they came out on record. According to SM Entertainment’s newsroom, ‘UP (KARINA Solo)’ was first performed at aespa’s second solo concert in June 2024 and then included on the special digital single SYNK : PARALLEL LINE on 9 October that year. Karina wrote its lyrics on her own, and it reached number one on the Melon daily chart published on 12 October.

‘GOOD STUFF’ followed the same path. According to MHN, aespa released the special digital single SYNK : aeXIS LINE on 17 November 2025, carrying the four members’ solo songs from the group’s third concert at KSPO Dome in Seoul that August. Karina’s ‘GOOD STUFF’ is a hip-hop dance track she co-wrote the lyrics for, and it sits alongside Winter’s ‘BLUE’, Ningning’s ‘Ketchup And Lemonade’ and Giselle’s ‘Tornado’. Karina’s Waterbomb set, then, gathered two years of concert solo songs onto one festival stage.
