What happened

aespa took the Allianz Stage at Lollapalooza Chicago, in Grant Park, on 2 August 2026 local time. Star News, Etoday and TenAsia all put the setlist at 14 songs, and it was the group’s first Lollapalooza set.

The set opened with the debut song. According to Star News, ‘Black Mamba’ and ‘Next Level’ came first, followed by ‘Armageddon’, ‘Supernova’, ‘Whiplash’, ‘Switchblade’, ‘LEMONADE’, ‘WDA (Whole Different Animal)’, ‘Rich Man’, ‘To The Girls’ and ‘Hold On Tight’.

‘Switchblade’ had a guest. The same outlet reported that Ty Dolla $ign, who is featured on the track, came on unannounced and performed it with the group. After the set aespa said: “It was a real honour to stand on the Lollapalooza Chicago stage. So many fans sang along with us and cheered, and that is why we enjoyed the stage so much ourselves.”

Two days later the video for the same song arrived. Soompi reported that aespa released the music video for ‘Switchblade (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign)’ at 1 p.m. KST on 4 August. The same outlet described the track as a B-side from the second full-length album LEMONADE and an electronic dance song.

The schedule ran straight on. Etoday wrote that aespa open their world tour ‘2026-27 aespa LIVE TOUR - SYNK : COMPLæXITY’ with the Seoul shows on 7 and 8 August, taking in 25 regions across North America, South America and Europe.
