What happened

aespa played their own shows at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul, on 7 and 8 August 2026. Ilgan Sports reported that the concerts opened the group’s fourth world tour and that 35,000 people came over the two nights. The tour is called ‘2026-27 aespa LIVE TOUR - SYNK : COMPLæXITY’.

The set ran to 27 songs. TenAsia wrote that the show ran them one after another with no break, and that Karina sang ‘16 Bit’, Winter ‘Saddle Up’, Giselle ‘BYEB4HELLO’ and Ningning ‘I Love You But I Gotta Let You Go’ as solos. The unit stages were ‘Serenade’ by Karina and Winter and ‘Lollipop’ by Giselle and Ningning.

The show was built in five sections. Munhwa Ilbo wrote that each section carried a different concept and story.

Winter said on stage: “Thank you, MY, for filling this venue. We never even imagined we could fill it.”

The unit songs performed at the shows were released the next day. Munhwa Ilbo reported that ‘Serenade’ and ‘Lollipop’ went up on the music services at 6 p.m. KST on 9 August. The two came out together on one special digital single, SYNK : aeXIS LINE (2026).

The Seoul shows were not their first outing. According to Xports News, aespa played their first Japanese dome tour concerts at the Tokyo Dome on 25 and 26 April, drawing 94,000 people, and performed both songs there for the first time. The same outlet noted that Giselle and Ningning took part in writing and composing ‘Lollipop’.
