RESCENE's First The Fact Music Awards: 19 September at Busan Asiad Main Stadium
RESCENE appear at the 2026 The Fact Music Awards for the first time since their debut, at Busan Asiad Main Stadium on 19 September 2026. The organising committee named them in the second line-up on 21 July and confirmed 17 acts on 30 July. The red carpet is at 4 p.m. and the ceremony at 6 p.m.
What happened
The organising committee of The Fact Music Awards announced this year’s ceremony on 11 June 2026. According to The Fact, the committee said that “the 2026 The Fact Music Awards, hosted by The Fact and organised by FANNSTAR and UCW, will be held on 19 September at Busan Asiad Main Stadium”.
The line-up was released in three parts. The second line-up, announced by the committee on 21 July, held six acts, and RESCENE were among them. The same outlet wrote that day that RESCENE “make their first appearance at The Fact Music Awards since their debut”. The announcement listed the acts in Korean alphabetical order.
On 30 July the three parts together were confirmed as 17 acts. According to the same outlet the committee had released the first, second and third line-ups over the previous three weeks, and that article too wrote of RESCENE that “this is the first time”.
Why is it trending?
Three outlets covered the ceremony on the same day, 2 September. Sports Kyunghyang, MK Sports and Topstarnews each reproduced the 17-act line-up in the organiser’s Korean alphabetical order and reported that the actor Kim Soo-hyun will attend as a presenter. All three introduced RESCENE by way of the ‘Geoje yaho’ meme, and Topstarnews wrote that the meme is how the group’s name spread online.
The ‘Geoje yaho’ meme is covered in a separate story. RESCENE’s 2026 stage schedule is in the stage diary, and their previous awards stage in the K World Dream Awards story.
