규진
Kyujin (규진) is a member of NMIXX, the JYP Entertainment girl group who debuted on 22 February 2022. She was in the very first JYPn reveal video half a year before the debut, and in August 2026 she took part in the saxophonist Jason Lee's single 'Take A Chance' as featured vocalist and co-lyricist.

Kyujin was in the video that first introduced members of the group, half a year before the debut. Edaily reported that on 6 August 2021 JYP posted ‘Press Cover | QUALIFYING | Samantha Long X Eom Taewoong Choreography’ on a new YouTube channel, JYPn, presenting three trainees for the first time, and wrote that Kyujin showed promise as a future “stage master” with her assured facial expressions and gestures. According to Newsis, the video passed one million YouTube views within five days.
The music press has described Kyujin as one of the group’s rappers. Reviewing the first EP expérgo on 22 March 2023, NME’s Gladys Yeo wrote: “Meanwhile, rappers Jiwoo and Kyujin imbue each track with bursts of fresh, spunky energy.”
The same magazine placed ‘Roller Coaster’, from the third single album A Midsummer NMIXX’s Dream, twenty-second among its 25 best K-pop songs of 2023 on 19 December. What the entry picked as the song’s best moment was its ending, the outro by Kyujin and Jiwoo: “The song could not have ended on a better note than the outro performed by Kyujin and Jiwoo.”
In June 2025 Harper’s Bazaar Korea published a shoot of Kyujin and Jiwoo, which JTBC reported was the first for either of them. In the accompanying interview Kyujin recalled a comment she read when ‘High Horse’, the pre-release track from the fourth EP Fe3O4: FORWARD, came out: “I still remember a comment that said it felt like we had made a work of art that went beyond idol music. When I saw it I thought, ‘That’s it!’”
Looking back on the years since the debut, she said: “In hindsight it was a process of finding what suits us better and better and being refined by it, and I’m proud of that.” Among the things she wants to try, she named “a bucket list of making NMIXX’s choreography or music myself”.
That same month the womenswear brand BEIDELLI opened its first flagship store in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, on 13 June and named Kyujin its first official ambassador, as Beauty Hankook and Fashionbiz reported.
On 16 October 2025 she was a special MC of episode 909 of Mnet’s M Countdown alongside Haewon and Jiwoo, the broadcast that carried the comeback stage for the first full-length album Blue Valentine.
With the fifth EP, Heavy Serenade, in May 2026, Kyujin told iMBC: “We worked hard to show how much we have grown and how much wider our musical spectrum has become.” Of the group’s February stages at the São Paulo Carnival in Brazil and the Viña del Mar festival in Chile, she recalled: “The moment a huge crowd chanted our names, I felt a real thrill.”
In August 2026 she put her voice and her words on a release outside the group. On 17 August JYP Entertainment announced on NMIXX’s official site that Jason Lee’s ‘Take A Chance (Feat. 규진 of NMIXX)’ had been released. Genie Music’s credits list the lyrics as Jason Lee, Kyujin and IKKI and the backing vocals as Kyujin and IKKI. The song is classed as R&B/soul, and the release carries both the featuring version and a solo version. The full credits are in the story on the song.
The song whose lyric credits carry Kyujin’s name is ‘Take A Chance (Feat. 규진 of NMIXX)’. Among the group’s songs, her voice closes ‘Roller Coaster’ in the outro NME singled out.

NMIXX are a six-member JYP Entertainment girl group who debuted on 22 February 2022 with the single album AD MARE under the banner of MIXX POP. The Fe3O4 trilogy and the first full-length album Blue Valentine followed, and in November 2025 they opened their first world tour.
NMIXX's first headline world tour, EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER, opened at Incheon's Inspire Arena in November 2025, four years after the group debuted. It went through five European cities and six North American ones in spring 2026, and grew to 19 shows in 17 cities once five Asian dates were added.
NMIXX release their sixth mini album, Strange Muse, at 6 p.m. KST on 19 October. They posted an a cappella highlight medley on the 11th and an original one on the 15th, which first played their first three unit songs. They then close their first world tour in Incheon on 27-29 November.
