Haewon (해원) is the leader of NMIXX, the JYP Entertainment girl group who debuted on 22 February 2022. She shares the lyric credit on 'PODIUM' and 'Crush On You' from the first full-length album Blue Valentine, and has hosted the web series Workdol and MBC's Idol Star Athletics Championships.
Haewon (해원) is the leader of NMIXX, the six-member JYP Entertainment girl group. She debuted on 22 February 2022 with the single album AD MARE, and Financial News named her as the group’s leader in its report on the debut showcase.
It was Haewon who greeted the press for the group at that showcase. “We are greeting you for the first time at the debut we dreamed of,” she said, adding: “It’s our first time, so we’re nervous, but we’ll do our best.” Asked what the name meant, she described the ambition that the members’ separate charms would “come together to show a new colour that doesn’t exist in the world and can’t be pinned to any one thing”.
Before the debut Haewon was the sixth member to appear. SPOTV News reported that at midnight on 5 November 2021 JYP posted a cover video on the JYPn channel of Haewon singing Stephanie Poetri’s ‘I Love You 3000’. The same report said she handled the relaxed bedroom pop with ease, and that her arrival raised expectations for the new group’s vocals.
On the 26th of that month a duet cover of ‘Survivor’ that she sang with Lily was released. Xports News wrote that after the sweet voice of her solo cover, Haewon showed a firm, powerful vocal style in this one.
Reviewing the first EP expérgo on 22 March 2023, NME’s Gladys Yeo wrote: “Haewon, Lily and Sullyoon have a seamless synergy, forming the backbone of every track.”
Her name is in the lyric credits too. In its introduction to the first full-length album Blue Valentine (2025), JYP Entertainment said Haewon took part in writing the seventh track, ‘PODIUM’, and that the eighth, ‘Crush On You’, was written by the rapper Since and Haewon together. According to the album introduction the first is pop built on a reggaeton rhythm and the second pop with a jazzy feel. IZM marked ‘Crush On You’ as one of five recommended songs in the tracklist printed with its review.
When the fifth EP, Heavy Serenade, came out in May 2026, Haewon told iMBC that it carried the story of love blossoming in “the ‘Mixxtopia’ NMIXX have arrived at”.
At the end of 2023 she became a host of 과몰입 인생사 (Gwamorip Insaengsa), SBS’s talk show about the lives of historical figures. Newsis reported on 4 December 2023 that the show had been picked up after its pilot and that season one, starting on 28 December, would be hosted by Lee Yong-jin, Lee Chan-won, Lee Ji-hye and Haewon.
The following year she took over the web series 워크돌 (Workdol), in which idols try out part-time jobs. Electronic Times reported on 20 March 2024 that Haewon, who had appeared in the previous season’s hair-salon episode, would host the new season from April on the YouTube channel Workman. On 28 November Star Today reported that she was hosting season three as well, and that she and the production team had donated 10 million won to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation, a pledge made during season two.
That Chuseok she hosted MBC’s holiday special Idol Star Athletics Championships. News1 reported on 16 July 2024 that Haewon would present the show, returning after two years, alongside Jun Hyun-moo. On 16 October 2025 she was a special MC of episode 909 of Mnet’s M Countdown with Jiwoo and Kyujin.
In October 2024 le coq sportif chose Haewon and Sullyoon as the models of its autumn campaign, ‘SEE THAT’. On 20 January 2026 the two appeared together on SBS’s Whenever Possible in an episode set in Daejeon, Sullyoon’s home city, and according to Newsen they sang ‘Hello, Gabby!’ on the spot at the request of a student who belongs to the fan club.
The two songs Haewon helped write sit side by side in the middle of Blue Valentine: ‘PODIUM’, the seventh track, and ‘Crush On You’, the eighth. The album’s chart record and reviews are set out on the record’s page.

NMIXX are a six-member JYP Entertainment girl group who debuted on 22 February 2022 with the single album AD MARE under the banner of MIXX POP. The Fe3O4 trilogy and the first full-length album Blue Valentine followed, and in November 2025 they opened their first world tour.
NMIXX's fifth mini album Heavy Serenade, released on 11 May 2026, carries six songs, and five of them credit Lily or Bae as a lyricist. The title track's words are by HANRORO. It topped Hanteo Chart's weekly physical album chart and Circle Chart's album and download charts.
Sullyoon and Haewon of NMIXX spent a day in Sullyoon's home city of Daejeon on the episode of SBS's Whenever Possible broadcast on 20 January 2026. At KAIST they sang 'Hello, Gabby!' on the spot for a member of the fan club NSWER, and Xports News reported that the episode led all Tuesday variety shows.
NMIXX's first headline world tour, EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER, opened at Incheon's Inspire Arena in November 2025, four years after the group debuted. It went through five European cities and six North American ones in spring 2026, and grew to 19 shows in 17 cities once five Asian dates were added.
NMIXX release their sixth mini album, Strange Muse, at 6 p.m. KST on 19 October. They posted an a cappella highlight medley on the 11th and an original one on the 15th, which first played their first three unit songs. They then close their first world tour in Incheon on 27-29 November.

JYP Entertainment announced on 17 August 2026 that Kyujin of NMIXX had featured on 'Take A Chance', a single by the saxophonist Jason Lee. Genie Music's album information credits her not only as a featured and backing vocalist but as one of its lyricists.
The French dermo-cosmetics brand Bioderma named Sullyoon of NMIXX its brand ambassador as it brought Atoderm Facial Lotion to Korea on 26 August 2026. Vegan News and BetaNews reported the appointment on 20 August, and the brand's official YouTube channel posted a campaign film with Sullyoon on 24 August.
