YG Entertainment posted ‘BABYMONSTER - Introducing RORA’ on its official blog on 16 February 2023. Sports Kyunghyang, reporting on the film the same day, introduced Rora as a Korean trainee and wrote that she had been picked as a YG trainee while performing in a children’s girl group. The same report says she travelled alone between her family home in Chuncheon and Seoul to keep school and practice going. Yang Hyun-suk, the executive producer, said that “Rora has the feel of hip-hop as well” and that she is good enough to make him wonder whether anyone is allowed to be that good.
