G-Dragon released his third full-length album, Übermensch, on 25 February 2025. The Korea Herald reported that the record came almost 11 and a half years after his previous full-length album, Coup D’Etat. The title refers to the ideal human, a concept proposed by the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche.

Newsis wrote that the tour comprised 39 shows in 17 cities across 12 countries. The Korea Herald likewise reported that the tour stopped at 17 cities around the world for 39 shows, began in Korea in March 2025 and ended with an encore show in Seoul in mid-December.

Newsis noted that this was G-Dragon’s first solo world tour in about eight years, since M.O.T.T.E wrapped in October 2017.

The next day Sports Kyunghyang reported that the event would be called 2026 G-DRAGON FAM MEETING and would run from 6 to 8 February at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, in the Songpa district of Seoul. Sports Kyunghyang wrote that even straight after a large-scale world tour, G-Dragon chose meeting his fans first.

According to Joynews24, the event took place from 6 to 8 February at KSPO DOME under the full name 2026 G-DRAGON ‘FAM’ MEETING [FAM+ILY : FAMILY : FAM I LOVE YOU], and about 40,000 people attended over the three days. It was the first solo fan meeting G-Dragon has held since his debut.
